DAZN NETS MAJOR LEAGUE SOCCER FOR SIX MARKETS IN FOUR SEASON DEAL

The revolutionary sport streaming service will screen MLS in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Spain and Brazil from 2019 to 2022

London, X May 2019 – DAZN, the world’s first pure sport live and on-demand streaming service, has been awarded the broadcast TV rights to Major League Soccer (MLS) in six international markets.

Starting with immediate effect, DAZN will screen MLS exclusively in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy and Spain, where it has the right to show every match. The media rights have also been awarded non-exclusively for DAZN in Brazil. The agreement covers four seasons, starting from 2019 until 2022.

This week DAZN announced it had secured exclusive rights for this year’s Copa del Rey final featuring Barcelona versus Valencia for Germany Austria, Switzerland and Japan, with non-exclusive rights for Italy.
