Following the hotly anticipated launch of DAZN in Canada last month, we hosted a selection of the Canadian Media at an exclusive venue in Toronto to introduce ourselves and get them familiar with our service for the first time. The event took place in the old Bank of Canada Vault and the media were on hand to watch the first bulk of pre-season NFL games with us.
CEO James Rushton was present to introduce DAZN to the press and share our joy at launching in such a passionate sporting market. With seven exciting games from the start of the NFL pre-season programme to enjoy, the 34 media delegates in attendance were treated to product demonstrations from members of DAZN’s stellar product team. These were conducted on a number of the different devices on which DAZN is live, and gave the press an insight into how the product works across a variety of platforms.

On the night itself, it was a great start to life in Canada for DAZN. The NFL action was as entertaining as ever, with big wins for the Baltimore Ravens, Green Bay Packers and the Denver Broncos, as well as a thrilling game between Miami Dolphins and Atlanta Falcons and a 31-24 win for the Jacksonville Jaguars over reigning champions New England Patriots.
