(Sept. 12, 2018 – Toronto, ON) — DAZN, the world’s largest dedicated live sports-streaming service, today announced details of its coverage for the 2018/2019 UEFA Champions League season (UCL). Hosted by veteran soccer anchor Colin Murray, DAZN Canada’s UCL show ‘Box to Box’ will be a LIVE program capturing every single goal from every single UCL match.

DAZN Canada’s UCL coverage includes pre-matchday show, LIVE coverage and post-matchday show. Soccer fans can watch each UCL game LIVE or watch Box to Box where DAZN host, Colin Murray, guides viewers through all six concurrent UCL games showing all goals and key actions as they happen.

“We’re thrilled to give a soccer viewing experience at a level that Canadian fans have never experienced before,” said Joseph Markowski, SVP Revenue, at DAZN.

“Our UCL coverage will follow every single game and their actions LIVE and commercial-free, and for the first time ever, there are no limitations on which games fans can watch. No matter where your team comes from, DAZN’s got you covered!”

Starting September 18, 2018, the first day of the group stage, Murray will be joined by Mina Rzouki, international soccer journalist and broadcaster, and a number of renowned international soccer specialists to provide live commentary on UCL game days.

“I lived in Toronto in my late teens, so Canada is a really special place for me,” said DAZN UCL Host Colin Murray. “I’m so excited to be bringing new, engaging and insightful soccer commentary to Canadian European soccer fans from coast to coast.”

In addition to Box to Box, Canadian DAZN users can enjoy each UCL match LIVE and on-demand. The 2018-2019 UCL group stage is scheduled to begin on September 18, 2018. A total of 32 teams will compete in the Group Stage to decide the 16 places in the Knockout Stage starting February 12, 2019.

DAZN will supply two games per matchday in French during the Group Stage for French-speaking users in Canada as well as matches beyond the Round of 16.
