July 17, 2018 (TORONTO) – At an intimate gathering of European soccer fans, DAZN Canada announced today that it has won the exclusive rights to the entire 2018 International Champions Cup (ICC) competition, including the Finals match of the first-ever International Champions Cup Women’s Tournament. The news was made while U.K. sports broadcaster and the new host of DAZN Canada’s UEFA Champions League show, Colin Murray and Manchester United legend and the third highest scorer in English Premier League history, Andy Cole chatted with some of Canada’s most avid soccer fans.
The ICC brings the greatest soccer clubs, the era-defining players, and the game’s most intriguing prospects to stadiums all over the world, including the United States. This summer’s competition will run from July 20 – August 11, 2018, with matches taking place at iconic stadiums such as: The Rose Bowl (Pasadena, CA), MetLife Stadium (East Rutherford, NJ), Aviva Stadium (Dublin, Ireland), Michigan Stadium (Ann Arbor, MI), Hard Rock Stadium (Miami, Fl) and The Singapore National Stadium (Kallang, Singapore).

Some of the best English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish sides will be competing in this year’s ICC tournament. Teams include: AC Milan (ITA); Arsenal (ENG); Atletico Madrid (ESP); Barcelona (ESP); Bayern Munich (GER); Benfica (POR); Borussia Dortmund (GER); Chelsea (ENG); Inter Milan (ITA); Juventus (ITA); Liverpool (ENG); Olympique Lyonnais (FRA); Manchester City (ENG); Manchester United (ENG); Paris Saint-Germain (FRA); Real Madrid (ESP); Roma (ITA); and Tottenham Hotspur (ENG).
The Finals match of the inaugural ICC Women’s Tournament will also be made available to Canadians, to be held on July 29 at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami. England’s Manchester City Women and French duo Paris Saint-Germain and Olympique Lyonnais, join National Women’s Soccer League leader, North Carolina Courage, as they compete to become the first women’s champion in ICC history.
All the action begins July 20 at 9pm (ET) as Manchester City take on Borussia Dortmund at Soldier Field in Chicago.
